LigoDLB 5ac

Description

LigoDLB 5ac

Cost-Effective Wireless Device with External Antenna Support

Equipped with a 750MHz QCA 9563 CPU, a QCA 9882 radio, and 64MB RAM/16MB Flash Memory, the LigoDLB 5ac brings efficiency to the next level.

The state-of-the-art RF design with N connectors for external antennas delivers great output power, improves range, and enables capacity over 256QAM.

+500Mbps of throughput—the result of a powerful hardware platform with an 802.11ac technology-based radio and the iPoll proprietary data transmission protocol.

The LigoDLBac Series is backward-compatible with LigoDLB using iPoll, extending the lifetime of DLB devices and making network expansion and upgrading straightforward and inexpensive.

DLB Series is Made to Excel in

Internet Access

Video Surveillance

Rural Connectivity

Hardware Built to Last

A powerful new generation CPU ensures better performance delivering higher—up to 170Mbps—throughput and almost 2× greater packet per second rate (80,000). The addition of RAM improves performance, allowing multiple users to be connected to a single base-station, and the larger flash capacity stores a 2nd failover firmware image.

Integrated Surge Protection

3kV line-to-ground and 1kV line-to-line protection allows operation under harsh weather conditions and unstable electrical installations.

Hotspot scenario support

Starting with v7.52, Infinity firmware can be used on LigoDLB devices for outdoor hotspot and related applications. The firmware upgrade converts the DLB base station from a PTP/PTMP device into an access point for outdoor hotspot networks.

iPoll 3: Enhanced Performance Protocol

LigoWave’s iPoll™ PTMP (Point-to-Multi-Point) proprietary protocol is an innovative solution, eliminating transmission congestion and close-cluster interference created in wireless PTMP installations.

LigoWave OS

LigoWave OS contains all of the essential features for establishing fast, strong, and reliable PTMP networks. The LigoWave OS includes IPv6 Bridge & Router Support, SSDP & Bonjour Device Discovery Options, Flexible Traffic Shaping, DHCP Option 82, and more. The user interface is built on HTML5 with responsive design. The LigoDLBac Series are backward-compatible with LigoDLB devices through the iPoll 3 Proprietary Protocol.

Incredible performance

500+ Mbps throughput – a result of powerful hardware platform with 802.11ac technology based radio and a proprietary data transmission protocol (iPoll). Incorporating a QCA 9563 CPU (750 MHz), a QCA 9882 radio and 64 MBytes of RAM and 16 MBytes of flash memory the, LigoDLB 5-15 ac series devices are an ideal solution for capacity demanding applications. State of the art RF design with great output power and sensitivity parameters improve range and capacity over highest the modulation – 256 QAM. The 24V Gigabit Ethernet port (passive PoE) allows utilizing the full capacity of the radio when used in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint network design. LigoDLB ac series devices are backwards compatible with LigoDLB devices using iPoll mode, which helps to expand or upgrade existing networks using the latest technologies over time.

New form factor

The shape of the enclosure is now smaller, lighter but retains the IP-65 weather protection rating. Smaller packaging reduces freight costs and makes them less obvious. The new design has no metal parts, which makes them lighter and corrosion resistant.

Powerfull OS

The LigoDLB OS is a highly functional and easy to use operating system embedded in all LigoDLB hardware devices for effortless setup and trouble free operation. High performance (500 Mbps) allows offering more bandwidth together with additional services such as VoIP and IPTV. This is possible when using LigoWave’s smart QoS mechanism and multicast traffic enhancements for triple play services. Such services are essential for all next generation service providers to complement their existing portfolios. iPoll, LigoWave’s proprietary transmission protocol, ensures smooth performance with a high number of clients even in noisy environments.
